The brothers of Sigma Phi Epsilon are proud to host the seventh annual East Campus Hall Brawl, the first ever charity event to take place on East Campus and feature teams from each freshman Hall. The event, which will take place on November 7th, is based upon a competition between freshmen residence halls, with each hall submitting teams for various events, including Ultimate Frisbee, Tug of War, 3-on-3 Basketball, a relay race, and balloon launching. Each event has its own separate tournament with dorms earning points based on their overall record and place. T-shirts are given out to each participant featuring their dorm name, and the Hall Brawl and Balanced Man logos. Each team has the opportunity to win great prizes and we also provide ample food and drinks, all of which are graciously donated by Durham’s local businesses. Approximately 300 freshmen participated in last year’s Hall Brawl. The event generated over $1200 dollars, all of which SigEp is proudly donating to the Ronald McDonald House of the Durham Community.
